I am a political scientist specializing in international relations and political methodology. Currently, I am a Research Analyst at AidData at William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. I also teach in the Department of Government at William & Mary.
In the fall of 2018, I will join the faculty of the Department of Political Science & Geography and the Graduate Program in International Studies at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA as an Assistant Professor.
My research focuses on the political economy of foreign aid and connections between domestic politics and international conflict. I received my PhD in Political Science from Vanderbilt University in August 2016. I also earned my MA in Political Science and a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability Politics & Policy from the University of New Hampshire in 2011, and graduated from Salem State University with a BS in Political Science in 2009.
