I am a political scientist specializing in international relations and political methodology. Currently, I am a Research Analyst at AidData at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. I also teach in the Department of Government at William & Mary.

My research focuses on the political economy of foreign aid and connections between domestic politics and international conflict. I received my PhD in Political Science from Vanderbilt University in August 2016. I also earned my MA in Political Science and a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability Politics & Policy from the University of New Hampshire in 2011, and graduated from Salem State University with a BS in Political Science in 2009. Some of my research is forthcoming or conditionally accepted at International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Peace Research, and Conflict Management and Peace Science.
